Hello, My name is Lincoln and i'm a 1 1/2 yr old American Bulldog mix. I'm a very quiet and sweet natured guy. I'm a little bashful when you first meet me, but if you give me some time you will see my sparkling personality. Im a mellow boy until you bring a toy or ball to play with, and then the puppy in me comes out. I'm a very smart boy with a big heart, and I really just enjoy cuddling. I love to get hugs, and i'll thank you with big wet sloppy kisses back. I enjoy nice strolls through the park, and I never get into anything when you are away. I'm still working on my manners so i'm not yet ready for adoption but I should be in no time!

I am currently enrolled in the Pups on Parole program where I am learning my basic commands. *Please note that Pups on Parole dogs are housed at the women's correctional facility and not available for viewing until Saturday adoptions at Petsmart and may have a waiting list.* for more information on this program or interest in adopting, please call 227-5555.

About Heaven Can Wait Animal Society

About Our Rescue Group...

Our Vision:

Eliminate the senseless killing of over 30,000 cats and dogs annually in the Las Vegas area shelters.

Our Mission:

• Initiate aggressive spay/neuter programs to prevent unwanted litters of cats and dogs in targeted neighborhoods.
• Lead a local coalition effort resulting in effective humane animal laws with strict penalties for non-compliance.
• Educate our community on principles of responsible pet ownership.
• Rescue, rehabilitate and place homeless animals.
Heaven Can Wait Sanctuary does not yet have a facility. Because of this, we can only take in as many dogs and cats as we have space for in foster homes. We are in need of expanding our foster network so we can save more animals' lives. If you are able to be a temporary parent to these homeless babies, please call HCWS today at 227-5555

Over 1000 cats and dogs are adopted to new families annually through HCWS' partnership with area PETsMART stores.

Heaven Can Wait Sanctuary adoption center for CATS is located at the Rainbow & I-215 PETsMART store. Stay tuned! You never know when we may be at a PETsMART near you!

HCWS holds DOG adoptions every Saturday at PETsMART on S. Rainbow and the 215 from 10:00am to 5:00pm

HCWS's Feral Cat Clinic is now a monthly event with huge success! We have spayed and neutered over 4700 cats to date, who were then released back to their outdoor homes. This successful event to help reduce the overpopulation of feral cats in the Las Vegas valley was only possible due to the cooperation of many of Las Vegas' animal welfare groups and individuals who care for feral cat colonies in our valley. Heaven Can Wait would like to send out special thanks to the veterinarians who donate their time and professional skills, as well as PETsMART Charities who granted us $10,000 for the program. This is a massive effort to help reduce the overpopulation of feral cats in our city. Please check back to find out about future updates. To volunteer for future dates, please call HCWS at 702-227-5555.
