Macy's Story...
Meet Macy Pup! She came to us from a rural shelter in Alabama and she was found as a stray in the worst possible condition. However, after spending lots of quality time in foster, she is ready for her new home! When you first meet her, she looks like a golden puppy, but we think she is mixed with a smaller breed - so if you are up for having a mini golden or a golden looking puppy, Macy is your girl. She is house trained, crate trained and LOVES to snuggle. And she loves other dogs too!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Macy, a Knoxville Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
