Daisy's Story...
UPDATED BIO 11/01/2011: MEET DAISY! She is a very sweet 8 y/o female Silky terrier who is being fostered in Orlando, FL. Daisy weighs a healthy 13 lbs and she is very loving. She gets along well with other dogs (and the cat) and just wants someone to give her some love & attention. Daisy is a calm dog who loves to cuddle up in your lap. She is housetrained, leash-trained and will come whenever you call. Daisy is up-to-date on vaccines and is also microchipped; when she had a dental, she was only left with 4 teeth, so sometimes her cute little tongue will stick out - that gives her extra character! If you're looking for a sweet & loving little girl, click on the Adoption Application for Daisy link below - she won't disappoint you!

INITIAL BIO 10/23/2011: MEET DAISY! She is a beautiful little girl who is 8 years old and weighs 13 lbs - she's not fat, just a standard-sized Silky Terrier.. She just came into rescue, so stay tuned for more info on Daisy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Boca Raton Silky Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Silky Terrier for sale in Boca Raton, or seeking a Silky Terrier dog from a breeder in Boca Raton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boca Raton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boca Raton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Silky Terrier breeders who help with Silky Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boca Raton paves the way for another one to be saved.
