Toto's Story...
There's no place like home....there's no place like home. If only this Toto could close his eyes and tap his heels together three times and find a home. But somewhere over the rainbow, way up high, there's a home that he's heard up, once in a lullaby. Toto is a vibrant 3 year old chocolate and white male who knows that somewhere over the rainbow, there is a family who has older kids who love to play ball as much as he does. He came to us after the cowardly lion moved away and left him in his backyard. He then followed the yellow brick road which led to the Cocker Inn. Toto know that everyone's dreams really do come true and knows that his dreams of the perfect home will come true too.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toto, a Houston Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Houston, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
