Max's Story...
Max, is a Big, Handsome and Loving (4-5 year old male) Neutered Rottie/Shephard Mix. He is approx. 75 lbs. He will probably put on at least 20 lbs more now that he isout of the shelter. He is fully obedience trained. Responds to "NO" without a problem. He sits, stays and walks great on leash and will stay at your side off-leash. He loves to give kisses, but would rather you didn't kiss him. He is crate trained and house trained. He loves to be indoors with you. He will curl up at your side and thinks he is a lap dog, as he will try to fit onto you lap. Due to his size, he would do better in a home without small children, cats or small dogs. Would prefer someone who is Rottie savvy. Max was an owner relinquish and spent aprox. 3 months at a county shelter. He is such a sweet giant. Wouldn't you like to give him the loving home he deserves???

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Alpine Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Alpine, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Alpine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpine paves the way for another one to be saved.
