My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pepito is a one-year-old, Chihuahua, who comes to us from AMR as an unclaimed stray. His greatest wish is that his days as an orphan are few! Every dog who comes into this world deserves a home for his/her entire life. Pepito, like many Chihuahua, is a little guy with a lot of spunk. He loves playing with the other dogs and his favorite pastime is playing chase. Pepito gets very excited when it is his turn to go for a walk; not only does he wiggle his tail but his entire body. Chihuahuas are tiny dogs but they do have legs and need to walk, run, and play. Although it is tempting to carry Pepito, he is is not an accessory! Too much time spent in their human’s arms sometimes elevates a dog’s status and can produce an armpit piranha. Children are not recommended for Pepito. Chis are too small and fragile and can easily be injured by a child accidentally stepping, laying, or falling on them. Pepito has many years of love and devotion to share with his new family.
