I'm Billie Jean, the Dancing Queen!
I'm mostly black Lab but some people think I might have some Great Dane in me due to my head shape. I'm a big, lovable girl weighing 80-90 lbs!
I'm happy, active and playful. I love to wrestle with other big dogs and like most Labs I enjoy a good swim! But my favorite game is soccer- I would play all day! Tennis balls don't do it for me, I like the size and texture of the soccer ball and will play with myself or as a "team". I'd love an active family with kids or other dogs to play with but I'd be just as happy as an only dog as long as I get to play!
I'm well-behaved in the house, am cratetrained, housetrained and know some basic commands like sit, down and shake. I really love the A/C when it's hot but especially love being the center of attention.
I came to Happy Dogs as a ~5 month old puppy. A volunteer's neighbor found me wandering the countryside all by myself and was worried the coyotes would eat me (they'd already gotten his "outdoor"dog. Yikes!) I was adopted by a great family but it didn't work out. I was not enough of a "velcro dog" for them- I'm perfectly fine being left alone. So now I'm looking for my forever family. Do you have room for me?
