My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Guppy is a sweet natured, friendly little girl. We are not sure what breed is mixed in there but she is definitely a little doll. She is approximately 3 years old and weighs just 10 lbs. She is currently living in a foster home with other dogs and children and doing very well. She would love to find her forever family.

Guppy is an easy to care for companion. She is fully house trained and crate trained and can be left for a normal working day with no issues. She loves to play with toys and is fine sharing the attention. She is a lap dog and is a real cuddler. She is happy just to be around her people and loves to cuddle up on the couch or go for a stroll around the block to say hello to the neighbours.

Guppy doesn't really know much in the way of commands but she is naturally obedient. She does well on leash and pretty much stays close to her people. She is over-joyed to be sitting in your lap but is just as happy lying at your feet. She is currently crated during the day when her family is away. She hasn't had any accidents in the house or in her crate. She is a dog that you could easily take anywhere with you. She is quiet in the home, only barking when someone knocks on the door and then quiets quickly. She would likely do well in an apartment or in a house. She doesn't need much of a backyard but would still enjoy a walk each day to clear her head. She would likely need to wear a coat in really bad weather.

She doesn't try to bolt out the door and instead waits for you to go out before trotting along with you. In an apartment she would be happy meeting friends in the elevator and would be quiet enough to not cause any problems with neighbours. She would do well with respectful children of any age but would be best with children 5+ as she is a small dog.

Guppy would be a very devoted and loving little pet for just about anyone. She is a happy, easy to please little girl that just enjoys herself and would make a lovely, fun companion.
