Bacardi's Story...
Bacardi is a sweet and affectinate tabby boy who loves to romp, run and chase. His favorite toy
is a feather on stick! He is from a litter of 5 kittens born August 5, 2011. His mom was rescued
by a cat lover who did not realize she was pregnant. He has two sibling Bailey and Pernod who
are his best buddies, they are also up for adoption. Maybe you could be the lucky one to adopt
two or three of these cuties!
Bacardi and his siblings will be up to date and shots and fixed before going to their new homes!
All 5 kittens are still at their foster home in Houston, Texas. They are not at Pet Stop.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bacardi, a La Jolla Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in La Jolla, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in La Jolla.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Jolla already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Jolla breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Jolla paves the way for another one to be saved.
