My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Chanelle, the White Bellied Caique, and I am a Princess! I was hatched about 7 years ago. My Momma has taken very good care of me, but human lives change and she has had to reduce the number of babies she cares for, so I am looking for a new home. There are some things I want my new family to know about me. I am very clever and very active, like a human two year old. I need lots of room to play and activities to keep me busy and out of trouble. I also need something called close supervision, whatever that is. I am friendly with people nearly all the time, but as a Princess I do have my little moods. My favorite game is "body surfing". I love to get on a shoulder (just about anyone's) and roll around and get upside down. I also like wood and vine foot toys that I can roll around my cage. I have a good appetite and I eat Zupreem natural or fruit flavor. I like to dip all of my food in my water before I eat, so you will have to change my water several times a day. I also enjoy fresh veggies and fruit, scrambled eggs (my favorite) and healthy cooked beans, bread, etc. I have two "pet peeves". I am not fond of small children and I don't tolerate certain "white birds", I've heard they are called cockatoos. If you would like to give the Princess a new home, the adoption fee for Chanelle is $375.
