Marko's Story...
Marko's picture doesnt even comes close to doing him justice by showing what a handsome fellow he really is. Marko is a wonderful 2 yr old 36 lbs Beagle/Dachshund who came into foster care from a local shelter. We don't know why he wasn't adopted b/c he really is a great dog. He loves his people and is even good with kids. He likes some dogs but not all and might chase a cat. He thinks cars were designed just for him! Marko would be a great addition to any family. He is fully vetted and chipped! **This pet is in a foster home, not a shelter, please use the contact information provided.** LOCAL INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marko, a Woodstock Dachshund/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Beagle for sale in Woodstock, or seeking a Dachshund/Beagle dog from a breeder in Woodstock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodstock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodstock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Beagle breeders who help with Dachshund/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodstock paves the way for another one to be saved.
