My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Samuel is an 8-10 yr old purebred Golden Retriever. Golden Retriever Freedom Rescue was contacted by a shelter with Samuel. He was diagnosied with heart worm and will be treated at GRFR's expense. As you may know heart worm is both preventable and treatable.

Sam is a sweet and gentle soul. He has fit into our family beautifully. He is kind to the dogs and was totally mesmerized by the kitties. He would just stare at them as if he didn't know what they were. He has never bothered them! He quickly discovered the comfy dog beds and he deserves every comfort. We are still working on ridding his body of the yeast, which makes him very itchy. He is gaining weight but has a way to go to reach a good weight. His hair is beginning to fill in and it has a better quality due to his twice weekly medicated baths. His tail has never stopped wagging and he has a cute way of reaching out to you which we are trying to turn into a "shake".
