Sundance's Story...
Sundance is an adorable little guy who was dumped at a kill shelter in KY because his family was "allergic" ~ He is now safe and sound in his foster home in NJ meeting all the resident dogs, cats, and older kids ~ He is about 16-20 weeks (4-5 months) ~ up to date with vaccinations ~ microchipped ~ and already neutered ~~ We would prefer a home with small breed experience and another Shih Tzu to play with would be a bonus! ~ He is very social and seems to enjoy everyones company but would love a home to call his own! *Sundance weighs 6lbs* PICS ARE COMING SOON

~~~Please email rescue-me@earthlink.net to have application mailed to you to submit for possible approval ~~~
Puppies require a lot of time for housebreaking, training, and proper socialization ~ It is in the puppies best interest that they be adopted to families where someone will be home most of the day ~ Thank you for your understanding!
Why Adoption is a Great Option
Sundance, a Milford Shih Tzu puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Milford, or seeking a Shih Tzu puppy from a breeder in Milford.
  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
