Mason's Story...
I was found roaming on a country road in Butler County (Ohio). My owners dumped me to fend for myself. A man picked me up and took me to the Animal Friends Humane Society so I could serve my stray time. When my stray time was up the wonderful people at the Humane Society contacted Harlequin Haven to come for me and that very day they came for me. I am about 20 pounds underweight but I am a great eater and am eating four times a day so I will be gaining my weight quickly!!

Update: I am now ready for adoption!! I am a very happy and playful boy and would love a home that would play with me!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mason, a Bethel Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Bethel, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Bethel.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bethel already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bethel breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bethel paves the way for another one to be saved.
