I'm Holly! I am 3 years old, 45 pounds and thought to be an Australian Shepherd mix. I am spayed and UTD on shots.
I am currently living in a foster home, but, would really like my furever home.
I need room to play and someone who will have time to give me lots of love and attention. I am playful with some dogs, but I have never been around cats. Since I exhibit some herding dog traits, living with cats may not be a good idea, though I could be cat-tested if you are willing. A family with children would be fine as I really like kids. I am friendly and loving with new people, though hesitant at first.
Because of my breed mix, I am intelligent and energetic. I will need consistent training and exercise, though I will enjoy a relaxing, lazy day with you too . I would make a good agility candidate, or exercise companion. I know some basic commands and have potential to excel in further behavior training. I am a known escape artist with a leash/harness, so precautions must be taken. I get anxious when people come and go from the house, but some regular exercise and consistent training would help with this. A secure fenced in yard would be the ideal scenario, no electric fencing for me. I do not like to be crated. I am loose in the house during the day without any problems. I am a sweet, loving and fun-spirited girl. Won't you help me?

We are a no-kill rescue organization. We believe every animal deserves a life free from abuse. We speak for those who can't.
Erie Shores does not have a shelter and must rely on foster homes or kennels for the animals that are saved. PLEASE consider and inquire about fostering. There are never enough foster homes.

As we do not have a formal shelter we are always happy to arrange a meeting with any adoptable animal you may be interested in by contacting our email address.
All potential adopters are screened before adoption can be completed.
Adopter must allow ESHS to conduct follow-ups on pets well being.
