My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buddha-Bub is a one year old doxie mix who was surrendered by his owner when she found that she could not give him the attention needed. He was very shy at first, but has since blossomed into a very sociable little guy.  He loves to play with other dogs and chase/be chased. He weighs about 18 lbs, up to date on vaccines, and is neutered.

Adopting a rescued animal is a lifetime commitment! Adopters must complete a questionnaire, personal interview and home visit prior to adopting a Rocket Dog. There is a non-refundable $240.00 adoption fee which helps us defer the cost of spay/neutering, vaccinations and microchipping, food and medication (Rocket Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization and this fee enables us to continue rescuing and helping animals).
