Shorty's Story...
Meet Shorty. His name has been changed so that he can start a new life. Shorty was taken to the SPCA because his owner said he was snapping at her grandchildren. He has been fine with his foster parent and as you can see in one of his pictures loves to play ball and also plays with his foster sister. No children for Shorty as we do not know what the previous children did to him. If you are interested in him, his foster Mom will be glad to talk to you. He is housebroken too. Shorty is up to date on all shots, neutered, on heart worm preventatives and micro chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shorty, a Conroe Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Conroe, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Conroe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Conroe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Conroe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Conroe paves the way for another one to be saved.
