Duckie's Story...

PAWS has a chocolate lab puppy up for adoption. Her name is Duckie and she is 12 weeks old.

Duckie was pulled from a high kill shelter on her last day. She is now spayed, has had flea protection, has been micro-chipped, and has all shots appropriate for his age. Now all she needs is a new home.

She has a lot of energy and loves to play. She is using pee pads in the house, and pine chips when she is kenneled. She gets along with dogs and cats and kittens.

Adoption Contract is required to adopt this little cutie. His adoption fee $225.00. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. This puppy can be seen at her foster home in Commerce Township. Thanks for looking.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duckie, a Brighton Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Brighton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Brighton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brighton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brighton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brighton paves the way for another one to be saved.
