Miranda Panda's Info...

What unique markings this friendly girl has! Miranda, born in April 2008, was currrently rescued out of a horrible situation where the owner was unable to care for her. Fortunately, it did not affect her darling personality one bit. She is enjoying living in a clean environment. She gets along with the other cats & dog in her foster home (Val is her foster mom). Her brother is James. All Save Our Strays Inc cats have been sterilized, given one distemper vaccine, a rabies vaccine and have been tested for FeLV if under 6 months of age and for both FeLV/FIV if older. Also all have been microchipped. Chips are always registered to Save Our Strays. A contract must be completed prior to any adoption after approval of the adopter by one of our adoption volunteers. Please note cats come in and out of foster homes so seeing a cat on this site does not guarantee it will be available when you contact us. Also we do not adopt on a "first come first serve" basis. Our volunteers, particularly the foster homes, have first right of adoption even if at some point the photo is posted on this site. The adoption fee is $50.00 (subject to change.) Renters will be asked to provide proof that pets are allowed. Placements are made based on the needs of each cat.
Rescue Group Info...
We are an all-volunteer, non-profit, no-kill organization dedicated to rehoming abandoned cats and kittens in Pinellas County, Florida.
Our mission is to rescue homeless cats without regard to the animal's health, age or overall physical condition. All cats/kittens are taken to the Vet for an exam and tested for feline leukemia and FIV, vaccinated for distemper and rabies, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All procedures are subject to the age and general health of the animal. We have any health problems attended to, and place them in a shelter home until we can find a loving, responsible, permanent home. There is no limit on the time in the shelter home. Our strong belief in rehabilitation means we want every animal to thrive and to be adopted into a loving home.
ALL donations are spent on vet care, food, medicine and housing. PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN!!!
