Meow! My name is Ashley @ Petco

Ashley is a loveable, talkative black Tabby cat. She is about 8 years old. Ashley is an independent cat, and doesn’t mind being left alone. She enjoys attention, when she wants it, and she will let you know she wants to be petted. If she doesn’t want attention, she will give you a look or turn her back to you.  She was rescued from Lafayette Animal Control in 2005, and adopted into a home in 2006. She was recently returned to Acadiana Humane Society when her family moved. She is used to being an only child, and would do best in a home with few or no cats. We're not sure how she is with dogs or young children. 

Update: Ashley is currently sporting a cute shave. She actually seems to prefer her hair shorter. You can meet her at the Petco located at 3215 Louisiana Ave. in Lafayette.

You may then fax, snail mail, or email, your completed application to us for consideration. Applications may also be left with any manager at the Lafayette Petco. Completion of these forms does not guarantee that you can adopt from us. Thank you!

Cats are tested for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, dewormed, and microchipped. Cat adoptions are inside only and no declawing.

Dogs are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, dewormed, microchipped, heartworm tested, and on Heartworm prevention. We don't adopt out yard or chain dogs. Dog adopters must have a fenced in yard.

Small animals are vetted. Ferrets are vaccinated and on Revolution for heartworm and flea prevention. Rabbits are spayed/neutered and exams done. Guinea pigs receive an exam. All pets are treated for parasites as needed.
