Forever Family Wanted

Solomon is a male white domestic short hair, born September 27th, 2006.
Solomon was found when he wandered into a managed feral cat colony. It was obvious he didn't belong with the other feral (wild) cats there, as he came right over to the caretaker and rubbed up against her legs and started purring! Because he is so well socialized and friendly with people, we believe that Solomon was probably once a house pet that was abandoned. Signs and ads were posted to try to locate his owner, but no one came forward to claim him. With no place else to go, Solomon came to stay at Kitty Corner to wait for a family to call his own.

Solomon is a sweet cat with a friendly demeanor. He gets along well both with people and other cats. Solomon has no personality problems, and seems to be a well adjusted young man.
Solomon loves people, and he is super friendly right from the start. He loves being petted and snuggled, and will happily curl up in your lap or next to you for hours while you read or watch TV.
Solomon gets along well with the other cats here. He enjoys their company and seems to like having feline pals to hang out with. Solomon is not pushy or aggressive with other cats, and could make friends with just about any feline. We feel he would be a wonderful companion for a family feline looking for a mellow, easy going friend.
On our outreaches and adoption events he's gone to, we have noticed Solomon seems familiar and comfortable with older women. We feel he would make a wonderful companion for a elderly woman looking for a well mannered, loving adult feline companion.

Because of digestive problems, Solomon eats a special prescription dry cat food. It can be bought at any vet's, and does not incur any additional expense over a 'premium brand' dry cat food.

Solomon is a big cuddler with a heart of gold, who has a lot of love to offer his family. Are you looking for a family feline to share good books and TV watching? Do you have a family feline who is looking for a companion? Please call us today to come and meet Solomon.
Call Kitty Corner at 315-457-4420 or fill out our adoption application at www.kittycorner.org to meet our adoptable cats and adopt a new member of your family.

Solomon tests negative for Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDS, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and all shots are up to date.

Kitty Corner has a lifetime return policy. If your adopted cat needs to be rehomed at any time, just bring it back to us. We want to be sure that none of our cats ever is homeless again.

Thank you for looking at our cats!

About Our Rescue Group...
At Kitty Corner, we are NOT a shelter. We are "cat rescuers" -- volunteers who live with the rescued cats in our own homes. We provide shelter, veterinary care and a chance for a new life in a loving home for cats who have been abandoned or who never had a home at all due to the overwhelming number of homeless pets.
We are all volunteers and 100% of every donation is used for the care of the cats.

When a cat first comes to us, they are briefly caged and isolated until they see our vet. They are checked for parasites and diseases. We provide vaccinations and any other veterinary care they may need. We also spay or neuter any cat who is old enough.
The healthy, altered cats are then evaluated for personality and placed in one of our four "cat rooms". When necessary, we work to overcome behavior or emotional problems so that the cat will be a happy, adoptable pet.

We try to match each cat with the person or family for whom it is best suited. The happiness of the cat and its new "people" is our first priority. In the last few years, we have taken in hundreds of cats and placed almost all of them in caring, responsible homes.

Kitty Corner is firmly committed to the idea that once a cat comes to us, it will never be homeless again. We have a life-long "cat back" guarantee. If an adoption doesn't work out at any time, for any reason, we ask that you to return the cat to us.

Come Meet Our Pets...
If you see a particular pet listed that you might like to meet, please call or e-mail and we'll tell you all about him or her.
If you are just looking to meet our cats available and see if one "clicks" with you, that's fine too!
Once you've completed the adoption application, either online or by phone, we'll invite you to meet our kitties. All of our adoptable cats are housed in the same location, so you will be able to meet everyone in one visit. We are located in Liverpool, NY.
Our Adoption Process...
Whether you have already found a cat or kitten you like in our adoptive listings, or if you just want to come and meet all our cats available for adoption, the first step is the application.

The first step to adopting is the adoption application. Our adoption application can be done over the phone 315-457-4420 or online at our website http://www.kittycorner.org under the "adopt" link; or here's a direct link http://www.kittycorner.org/pages/adoptapp.php

We request an adoption donation for our cats and kittens, which helps us to offset a little of our veterinary costs.
All cats, even the kittens, must be sterilized before going to new homes. We believe strongly in pediatric spay-neuter, a practice that can be used with kittens as young as eight weeks.

We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
Kitty Corner of CNY rescues and adopts our cats to all of Onondaga County, New York State. We will also consider out of the area (including out of state) adoptions on a case-by-case basis.
