Boyd's Story...
Boyd is a 3-4 year old Springer Spaniel / Setter mix who likes playing outside when he gets the chance. He is already housetrained as well as crate trained. Although Boyd is very good with other dogs of all sizes, cats are an unknown. Boyd loves being part of a family but being such a big boy at 90 lbs, it's a good thing he's not a jumper! Very laid back personality and very even-tempered fella who would fit in anywhere.

As HAHS now has several adoption locations, please contact Mark at 816.807.3211or markbopp-hahs@comcast.net so you can find out how to meet BOYD!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boyd, a Overland Park Springer Spaniel/Setter (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Springer Spaniel/Setter (Unknown Type) for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Springer Spaniel/Setter (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Springer Spaniel/Setter (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Springer Spaniel/Setter (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
