I was found in the pouring rain outside the Abingdon Post Office on Sept 8th. I was extremely thin (no belly, ribs, hips and clavicle very prominent).
Then a woman saw me. This woman could not leave me there. I had a faint meow but purred when I was picked up.
My new 'mommy' checked all the local vets in the area and posted signs. Posted on FB sights such as Bel Air News and Views and Bel Air Patch. Emails were sent out at several area high schools, middle schools and elementary schools. No one is claiming me.
I do like to be held and petted. I have been called a 'FRISKY & playful kitty' I'll let you know when I have had enough of your attention, just watch my tail.
I'm good with dogs, as for kids, l haven't met enough to know. Check back later to see if we are ok together?
I thought I was set for life, till I found myself outside looking for someplace to eat. Thanks Jill (foster mom), I guess I owe you my sweet little life.

Lucky Cat Rescue is an organization dedicated and committed to promoting pet spay and neuter. We provide information to educate individuals and communities of the importance of responsible pet ownership. This organization concentrates on spaying and neutering feral cat colonies which have caretakers and are in a safe environment. This practice reduces the risk of unwanted litters. We help in the rescue of stray and feral kittens which require socialization and need to be adopted. All cats and kittens are examined and treated by a veterinarian. Potential adopters will have access to veterinarian care.
This organization provides hope for cats and kittens that are considered "unadoptable" and would be euthanized by other shelters.

Trap, Neuter, and Release (TNR) feral (wild) cat colonies

We also meet and greet by appointment.

Our adoption donation is $85.00 for cats and kittens
All kitties have been spayed/neutered and are current on shots required for their age.
Once an application is completed someone will call within 48 hours.
References, personal and vet (requested on the application) are checked and personal interview are completed before the application is approved (this process usually only takes 24 hours)
A signed contract is required upon approval of the application then you take your new furry family member home
