Joker's Story...
Joker is a young man of 1 year. He was also spared from death at a NY shelter. He is a high energy comical guy who would make a great running partner. He likes everyone he meets, even cats. Joker can be a little selective with other male dogs but this is something our trainer will continue to work on, even after his forever home is found. He really is a sweet guy who adores snuggling, and is very willing to please his human friends.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joker, a Clay American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Clay, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Clay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clay paves the way for another one to be saved.
