Bunny was rescued in Delran, NJ. She was seen in a snow storm trying to find a place to hide and slipped into a garage opening where other cats were being fed. She was lucky that time, but during her vet exam, I found out Bunny had a previous break in her back right leg that healed overlapping but she walks fine. Upon listening to her heart, it was discovered that she has a heart murmur about a grade 4 on a scale of 6. An echocardiogram was ordered and the diagnosis was even worse than thought. Bunny has Pulmonary Hypertension and VSD a defect in her heart. In spite of this diagnosis, Bunny remains to be a kitten running around playing with other kittens and toys. She enjoys watching the birds and squirrels from the window perch while soaking up the rays of the sun. She is skiddish in coming to people, but pals around with other cats at home. She gets plenty of exercise and at last vet exam we got the ok to do her spay surgery, her heart was strong and she did well. She is up to date on her rabies vaccine and spayed. My hope for Bunny is to find a loving home with another cat to play with.
