Facts about Bunny

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Spotted Tabby/Leopard Spotted
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Bunny was rescued in Delran, NJ. She was seen in a snow storm trying to find a place to hide and slipped into a garage opening where other cats were being fed. She was lucky that time, but during her vet exam, I found out she is a kitty in bad health. Bunny had a previous break in her back right leg that healed overlapping. Once again luck with her and she walks fine. Upon listening to her heart, it was discovered that she has a heart murmur about a grade 4 on a scale of 6. An echocardiogram was ordered and the diagnosis was even worse than thought. Bunny has Pulmonary Hypertension and VSD a defect in her heart. She was given a year at most to survive. In spite of this diagnosis, Bunny remains to be a kitten running around playing with other kittens and toys. She enjoys watching the birds and squirrels from the window perch while soaking up the rays of the sun. She is skiddish in coming to people, but pals around with other cats at home. She cannot be operated on for spay due to her heart condition. She is up to date on her rabies vaccine. My hope for Bunny is to find a loving home till her day comes to cross the Rainbow Bridge home. Luck has been on her side, Bunny has outlived her expectancy.

About 4 Paws With A Cause Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a rescue and adoption group trying to help the kittens and cats found or left out by themselves.
Calls come in all the time but decisions have to be made on which ones we can help at the moment.
We believe every cat should have a home and be inside away from dangers.
All of these animals did not ask to be here or be put in a bad situation they are in but we can help make the rest of there life here better by finding them furever homes full of love.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

We are a Non-Profit 501c3 Tax exempt organization, all donations are used to help the cats in our care. Adoption donations vary on the type of kitten, cat or dog.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Weekends - Sat. and Sun. at one of these stores. Call ahead for schedule of what store we will be at.
Also, other times during the week by appointment.

Our Adoption Process...

Our process is, first an application is filled out, if you visited us and know the cat you’re interested in or if you want to be pre approved then pick out a pet.
After review of the application, vet & references checked and a home visit, this may take a couple of days.
Second, you will receive a call from me informing you of the application decision.
Third if approved, we meet and complete adoption agreement and go over many forms of information, the adoption donation fee depends on the cat.
The kittens or cats are vet checked, dewormed, bathed, vaccinated by age appropriate requirements spayed or neutered and micro chipped.
Because they are rescued the conditions may not always be great of which they came from. It takes time to build up their little immune systems and strength before being able to be vaccinated or having surgery.

You will receive an adoption booklet from our store with coupons for your shopping.
