Jazz Hands/Jail Bird's Story...
Jail Bird is a sweet, loveable and funny cat. He is very animated and puts his jazz hands up when playing. He gets along well with other cats. He has beautiful green eyes. He gets his name from a white ring around his back leg, looking as if he has an ankle bracelet on. He shakes his head when he gets excited playing like a bird does. He likes hanging in his hammock.

Jailbird has been waiting a long time for a home. He came to our rescue at 4 weeks old and is now 4 years old. He weighs 14 lbs. He is now part of the lonely hearts club.

He tested negative for Aids/Leuk. He has been dewormed, given Distemper and Rabies vaccines and neutered. He also has been micro-chipped. His siblings and he were rescued in Delran, NJ from a dangerous spot for little kittens to be.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jazz Hands/Jail Bird, a Medford Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Medford, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Medford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medford paves the way for another one to be saved.
