My story

Meet Dudley! He’s a 7 year old Doberman. Dudley is the sweetest, most kind boy ever & is eager to please his people. Dudley is a complete and total love! This handsome older boy was happy to get out to the yard and walked well on leash. He ignored the other dog when in the yard, and sought out attention from me (he loves ear scratches!). He was interested in the toys but most excited about smelling everything around him. Dudley seems like a dog that would fit in well with a family looking for an affectionate calm dog that does well on leash.

Dudley was heartworm tested and came up positive. He currently at the vet and beng treated and watched and is doing very well so far. The vet’s said luckily it’s not that bad. Dudley will be coming to us as soon as he’s healed and needs a FOSTER or forever home!

Adopting a rescued animal is a lifetime commitment! Adopters must complete a questionnaire, personal interview and home visit prior to adopting a Rocket Dog. There is a non-refundable $240.00 adoption fee which helps us defer the cost of spay/neutering, vaccinations and microchipping, food and medication (Rocket Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization and this fee enables us to continue rescuing and helping animals).
