Ruff Ruff! My name is Huck
|Breed:||Labrador Retriever Mix||Color:||Tan/Yellow/Fawn - With Black||Age:||Adult|
|Size:||Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)||Sex:||Male||ID#:||000303|
I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.
Huck is one of the sweetest senior dogs we have at Mackenzies. Born in March of 2003. He came to Mackenzies when Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans. Unfortunately we could not find his original owners, and because of past behavior issues we could not adopt him out. Huck has several volunteers he has bonded with at Mackenzies and everyone thinks he's pretty cool. He is not good with cats or other dogs, he just would prefer to be in a home with his people. Because of his age older kids would be a better fit for him as well. If you would like to meet Huck and fall in love with his adorable personality as well, please come and see him soon.

We schedule Adoption Visits by appointment only. Before making an appointment to meet a dog, the first step in our process is to complete our online adoption survey at www.mackenzies.info
To view all of our wonderful dogs available for adoption, visit www.mackenzies.info
First step: Go to www.mackenzies.info and fill out our short adoption survey! After we receive your survey, we will contact you to discuss our dogs and our process in more detail.
Our adoption process involves the family visiting Mackenzie's for at least two(2) separate "get-to-know-you" visits, followed by Mackenzie's staff making a Home Visit to the adopter's home before finalizing any adoption.
Please Note: We require a physical fenced in area for the safety of all our rescue dogs.
