Tuxedo's Story...
This is Tuxedo. He is 4 months old and came in with his sister Shelly. Tuxedo is a very well adjusted, healthy and social young man. He has already been neutered, and had his last shots, so he is now ready to go to his new home. He is a typical puppy, so new owners have to be aware that he is not fully developed yet, and care still has to be taken with him to make sure he does not injure himself. He likes to mouth play, so owners also have to be prepared to work on that. While he is pretty good with using piddle pads, he still has a way to go on learning housebreaking. he is also not fully leash trained at this time. Tuxedo is cute, but a work in progress! :)

Tuxedo is ready to go to his new forever home!

If you are interested in this or any other dog being fostered by IGCA Rescue - Colorado, please contact our state Rescue Coordinator (Serena - saryna244@frii.com) to start the adoption paperwork process.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tuxedo, a Centinnial Italian Greyhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound for sale in Centinnial, or seeking a Italian Greyhound puppy from a breeder in Centinnial.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Centinnial already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Centinnial breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Centinnial paves the way for another one to be saved.
