Roxie's Story...
Roxie is a 7-year-old fawn pug. She is blind, and will be undergoing surgery very soon to assess the extent of eye damage and perhaps to remove one of her eyes. She is a very sweet, happy Pug despite her blindness. She wags her tail constantly and adores playing with you if you are willing. At this point Roxie needs help getting from point A to point B, and it seems she hasn't really gotten the hang of being blind yet. Some of this may be her new environment in Boise, so we will continue to assess her progress. Roxie is very fit, and has a soft shiny coat. She is just adorable, a real love!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxie, a Eagle Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Eagle, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Eagle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eagle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eagle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eagle paves the way for another one to be saved.
