Major von Marbach is a gorgeous 10 month old German Shepherd mix puppy who is already eagerly awaiting having a job to do. Major truly lives up to his name, even at this young age. He loves tennis balls and rope toys in a “Major” way. In fact, he already knows how to pick it up and bring it back to you to tell you he’s ready for more by placing it in your hand after he retrieves it. Major would probably do great in Schutzhund training, agility class or a protection dog sport. He is very active and will need an owner who can channel his energy in a positive way, which is why he will need a job to do. Major is very obedient, smart and easily corrected by a simple, “No.” He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home. He fits into the pack there well, but would love to find a pack of his own. If you’re interested in meeting Major please fill out an application. Once you meet this amazing pup, we know you’ll fall for him in a “Major” way. At 10 months of age he already weighs 90 pounds so he will pass 100 before he reaches his final ideal adult weight.

Adoption fees vary with each dog and typically range from $150 to $500. They are set, taking into account the dog's age, training level, temperament, if they’re newly arrived, medical condition(s) (if any) and other factors. Adoption fees are used not only to rescue and place the dog you are personally adopting, but to aid in the future rescue and rehabilitation of other deserving dogs. Adoption fees are necessary; without fees our rescue efforts would quickly come to an end.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip and up to date vaccinations.
