Ayla's Story...
Ayla is a beautiful girl that is approximately 14 months old. She is Mini Australian Shepherd that is incredibly sweet...and she LOVES children of any age. This pup would make an excellent trick or stunt dog...with agility abilities...and would be an excellent dog to train for Frisbee. She has learned quickly and love to play with her toys and her ball. Ayla is about 30 pounds and probably won't grow much bigger. She is crate trained..but, would prefer to be comfortable on her pillow near your side. Given her disposition...she would make a wonderful companion or therapy dog. She has both her hearing and vision.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ayla, a Mesa Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
