My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Quita is a 4-pound, 3 to 4 year old, brindle female chihuahua. She is sweet and kind. She gets along very well with other dogs, but I bet if you asked her, she would say that she prefers to be an only dog, so she can get all the attention! Quita is tiny and adorable and prefers to use pee pads to go to the bathroom, but she will go outside to "go" as well. Quita would make a great apartment or condominium dog, as she doesn't care all that much for running around outside. She is laid back and mellow. She likes other dogs, but she will bark at ones that she does not know. Little Quita was saved moments before being euthanized in a high-kill California shelter. She is happy to be alive and can't wait to find a special person to call her own! Due to Quita's small size, we would prefer she go to a home without small children. Little Quita is longing for a forever home where she can get the attention she deserves!
