My name is Gizmo! I am pretty thrilled to be in Maine now except it's a little colder than my old home. I am having a lot of fun in my foster home - I get along well with everyone including the older kids here and, well, I think I am a lap dog! My foster mom says I am a "love." I am a happy, playful dog - in fact, sometimes I think I am a puppy! I play with one of the cats in my foster home - we are the same age and I really like to play with her.
The only thing I really want is a forever family. I am around one year old and around 45 lbs or so. When I get some more manners, which I am working on very hard with my foster family, I will be the BEST dog - I am already fun and loyal, now I just need to learn some more. Maybe my new family would take me to an obedience class and I will become the star!
To apply to adopt Giz, please visit our web site
here to find out about our adoption process.
Please note: we do not have a physical location, we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
Thank you for considering rescue!
