Mr. Moose's Story...
Mr. Moose listed as a Chow mix, but he's much more like a Newfie/Border Collie Mix. He is HUGE!!!!! And Fluffy!!!!! And has the most adorable personality ever. He just wants to play and hug you. Mr. Moose is about 5 years old and quite the handsome fella. He actually could use to shed a few lbs, cuz he's a tad bit chunky in the trunky. Mr. Moose was found on the corner of Lincoln/Bunce/Railroad area of Yuba City. He definitely was a family pet, but sadly no one has come looking for this great guy. Mr. Moose's ID Number is: A094058. He has been available to adopt/rescue since: 11-15-11. He is becoming URGENT. When you call about me, please make sure you use my ID number. Names can get confusing, but numbers don't. Can't wait to meet you! SUTTER COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL 102 Second Street Yuba City, CA 95991 (530) 822-7375 (Answering machine does not take messages)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mr. Moose, a Yuba City Newfoundland/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Newfoundland/Border Collie for sale in Yuba City, or seeking a Newfoundland/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Yuba City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yuba City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yuba City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Newfoundland/Border Collie breeders who help with Newfoundland/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yuba City paves the way for another one to be saved.
