Buttons's Story...
I don't know why my human gave me up and left me at the shelter. I am so lucky the NorCal Poodle rescue lady found me and got me out of there. I was taken to their kennels but when I traveled to an event I got really scared and barked a lot. They thought I needed help so they called in a Bark Busters Dog Trainer lady who said she would foster me and help me be a more secure girl. I am learning to do lots of neat commands, go for walks, play at the dog park, and greet people. I just need a forever home with someone who understands what a good leader looks like to me so I can keep expanding my social skills. I'm located in Castro Valley.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buttons, a Walnut Creek Poodle (Miniature)/Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature)/Bichon Frise for sale in Walnut Creek, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature)/Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Walnut Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walnut Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walnut Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature)/Bichon Frise breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature)/Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walnut Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
