Bonnie's Story...
This is Bonnie, and she was brought to us due to owner release. She has been adopted for over 4 years, but her owner decided not to keep her anymore. She is a great companion to have, very beautiful and loving, and would love to be your friend for life. She has hunting in her blood, so she could be trained very easily, if not already. Please give this sweetheart something to smile about this Christmas, and make her a part of your family.

Adoption Fee $85 includes cost of spay/neuter at contract clinic or $55 credit voucher toward surgery; vaccines, deworming and Idexx Snap heartworm testing for dogs 6 months of age or older.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bonnie, a Rockingham Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Rockingham, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Rockingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rockingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rockingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rockingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
