Rosie's Story...
Meet Rosie. This precious girl is about 6 months old and is a chocolate lab mix. She is very sweet, but has LOTS of lab energy. She needs a home where she will get lots of exercise - like trips to the dog park, runs in the backyard, hikes, etc. Rosie cannot wait to find her forever family. She is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and current on heartworm and flea prevention. Email us today at info@forrescue.net for an application and more information on this sweet girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a FOSTER Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in FOSTER, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in FOSTER.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in FOSTER already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a FOSTER breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in FOSTER paves the way for another one to be saved.
