found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
I am housetrained and crate trained, and I do well on car rides. Medically speaking, I am spayed, up to date on shots, and heartworm and parasite negative. I also just had my teeth cleaned. The only medical issue I have is a history of seizures. I have been taking medicine since I came into foster care and I have not had any seizures. My original mom reported that I had a few over the years when I got really excited playing with other dogs and children. However, my foster mom took me to a big pet expo with lots of strange people and other dogs, and I am happy to say that I did just fine!
I am a love bug that craves attention. I am always looking for someone to pet and love on me. I will follow you around the house so I can make sure I don't miss out on anything, and I will whine a bit if you ignore me. We are still working on manners. I know what I am supposed to do, but this is the first time my behavior is being reinforced. I know Sit, Off, No, Come, Stay, and Shake. I also love being outdoors. I stay in the yard, I come when called, and I am also good on walks off leash. Walking with a leash isn't my favorite activity right now, so we are working on that, too. My foster mom says that I am getting better about pulling. I love to play fetch and tug with my stuffed toys, and I also like rubber Kongs.
My ideal family would have children who are over six, as I still jump up if I get excited and I like to roughhouse a bit when I play. I am fine with other dogs, and cats are okay--I pretty much just ignore them. I have also been allowed on the furniture, and I like to sleep with you in bed. It would be nice if my new family would be active. I like getting in at least two fifteen-minute walks per day, as I am trying to lose a bit of weight.
I have been having loads of fun in my foster home. The dogs and people that live here are really nice, but I would love a Forever Home. Maybe it could be an early Christmas present for me!
