Nanook's Story...
Isn't she the prettiest girl? And she is looking for the perfect home! She is a house dog and is crate trained. She is a little picky about her T.V. stations, though.
Don't be fooled, though. She is an active, energetic husky that will need proper containment. She loves to play! Gets along with other dogs as long as they acknowledge she is the "princess".

ABSOLUTELY no cats!! She does have a high prey drive. But that would also make her a great agility dog.

Application and homecheck required. Adoption fee is tax deductible

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nanook, a Ashland Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Ashland, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Ashland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ashland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ashland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ashland paves the way for another one to be saved.
