My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Marni and she is a year old. She is a beautiful Aussie mix who weighs in at about 26 lbs. She is very kind, loving and well behaved. She plays well with the other dogs, too. She will want lots of exercise and playtime. This is a dog who can be a wonderful, loving and loyal companion. Marni is highly intelligent and adventurous. She has become a neighborhood favorite with adults and kids alike. She is extremely friendly and loving and people can't help but fall in love with her. Several of the kids want to come play with her or take her on walks daily.

Marni is also a Distemper survivor. She was rescued from a high kill shelter where she would have been put to sleep and there she caught the virus. When she arrived she was starting to show signs and began to get worse after a few days. With good vet care, meds and home cooked meals she is now perfectly healthy! She seems so happy to be alive and is a rescue favorite!

Her adoption fee is $220 and will include spay, vet check ups, heartworm negative test, all shots, Bordatella, grooming and some training. If you are interested in adopting her, please email for an application. References will be required.
