Abbey's Info...

Abbey's Story...
ABBEY..Lhasa Apso 4 years old.  This little one came into rescue becasue her mom passed away and her dad was unable to care for her.  She is absolutly precious !!  Miss Abbey is well behaved, is potty trained, has excellent manners, walks well on a leash and LOVES to ride in the car ( she knows most of the drive-thru windows  in the area).  She loves her toys and loves the squeaky ones !  This little one is just a perfect dog....  All of her vet work is current and she is spayed.  She does have a tear duct issue in one eye that requires eye drops daily ( about $40.00 every 3 months) and has no issues.  She requires a specific dog food too as she has allergies to many foods but it is totaly manageable.....  If you want a perfect little companion Abbey may be just the kid for you.  If you would like to see if she is for you, please contact Keeper Rescue at keeperrescue@gmail.com  telling them a little about yourself and where you live.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abbey, a Fort Hunter Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Fort Hunter, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Fort Hunter.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Hunter already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Hunter breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Hunter paves the way for another one to be saved.
