Wren's Story...
Hi, my name is Wren! I am a beautiful Labrador Retreiver mix. My D.O.B. is 7/09/11. I came to Mackenzies with my sister Hershee! We were found wandering in the wide open spaces. I much prefer having a nice meal and nice bed to sleep on. Being alone running the streets was really scarey. I was really fearful when I first came to Mackenzies, but am slowly coming out of my shell. I get lots of attention from the staff and volunteers here, and I am slowly learning my commands. Everyone here thinks I am really smart. I love to play and I like toys too! I think I would be a great addition to any family, if I do say so myself.

For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wren, a Lake Odessa Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Lake Odessa, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Lake Odessa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Odessa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Odessa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Odessa paves the way for another one to be saved.
