BARNEY's Story...
Barney is a tiny little Beagle Boy that may have some Dachshund in him too. His front legs look a little like a doxie and his body is stretching out a little longer than we at first expected. He is, just like Tractor, about 3 months old and had had his first shot and first worming. He will be vaccinated for bordatella and get another puppy shot and second worming this week and will be ready for... a home by Saturday.
Barney was found all alone on a county road outside of town, no houses, no people...........nothing but tiny little Barney. It was obvious that someone had abandoned this darling boy and left him all alone to take care of himself the best he could. Someone noticed him made come phone calls on his behalf (Barney can't dial 911 for himself yet). He eventually made his way to the local pound where he was housed with other guys, MUCH bigger than he was but very friendly to him. He made himself at home at the food dish and filled his hungry little tummy plum up!
Animal Control Officer happened to mention to Sweetpups they had a cute little puppy that needed out of the pound and the rest, as they say, is history. Now Barney bunks in with Tractor and plays all day with his new friend. He is never hungry, never cold or lonely, and never scared at Sweetpups. He does, however, have one wish for Christmas and that is to have just one special family to call his own. Can you help that wish come true?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BARNEY, a Vidor Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Vidor, or seeking a Beagle puppy from a breeder in Vidor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vidor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vidor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vidor paves the way for another one to be saved.
