Taz's Story...
shoe and dog

(ID #384) Hi, my name is Taz.

My previous owners brought me to the shelter because I was had just way to much energy for the kids. I would want to play but kept knocking them over. I really didn't mean to do that but I was just excited to play. I am very affectionate with people.

I am longing to find my forever home and a family to love me. Do you have room in your heart and your home for me??

I am a young fellow, a little over one year old and I weigh around 50 pounds. I have already been neutered, given my basic shots, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

I am being sponsored by Sheltered Paws Dog Rescue. That means they are providing you with a getting started Goodie Bag when you adopt me. The bag contains a collar, leash, ID tag, training DVD, CD with helpful articles, booklet with training information, toy, and treats. They are also providing a certificate for a free training course held at the shelter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Taz, a Cincinnati Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
