My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Bradley (some people call me Big Boy) and I was born on Valentines Day 6 years ago. My foster mom says I'm 150 pounds of pure love. I lived a pretty good life until a few months ago. One of my owners died and the other had a stroke and is in hospice care. They didn't have any other option but to leave me on their porch for 3 months. I was out there in 100 degree heat in August and in freezing cold in November. I'm sure happy to be in my foster home now! I'll be ready for my forever home in a few weeks. My foster mom says I have to get neutered on 11/20. Once I'm all healed up, I'll be ready! I'm pretty well potty trained, just adjusting to a new routine. I am not a super playful dog, but I get along with other animals just fine. In fact, my foster sister brings out my youth! My foster home has a half set of stairs that I'm working on figuring out... it takes me a few minutes, but I can get up and down - slow and steady wins the race, right? I would prefer a home with no stairs, but I'm willing to learn if you're willing to help! Because of my age, my hearing isn't as great as I'd like it to be. And my eye sight isn't perfect either, aw shucks! But even so, I don't require any additional attention or work - I'm pretty easy to take care of! I love to go on walks and I promise I won't pull on the leash. I love to stop and smell the roses (and everything else for that matter), but I don't pull at all! I'm a big lovable sweetheart and I'm really looking forward to finding my forever home. After 3 months all alone on that porch, I can't wait to find a cozy, permanent bed to live in for the rest of my life!
