Logan's Story...
We recently took in a litter of 4 puppies from a rural area. Although some of them look nothing alike, believe it or not, they are related. We have named this little family Freddie, Shasta, Logan and Kai and they are now searching for their forever homes!

Logan is a big fluff ball! This mellow boy is super sweet and can often be found lying in the middle of all the pups for a belly rub. He and Kai are the best of friends and he watches out for his little brother when the playing gets rough. That beautiful white coat will require a bit of maintenance, he came to us covered in burrs but was ever so patient as we removed them. Not sure how big he will get, we are guessing the upper end of medium but it won't matter, he will still love to lay beside you to have his tummy and ears rubbed. Puppy classes would be fun with Logan, he’s just so easygoing! We are just starting to work on housetraining but we'll keep you posted!

Puppies require a huge investment of time & training. If you are willing to make this commitment, please visit http://www.poundrescue.com/adoptions/adoption-process to learn about our adoption process and fees or to fill out an online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Logan, a Okotoks Great Pyrenees puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Okotoks, or seeking a Great Pyrenees puppy from a breeder in Okotoks.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Okotoks already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Okotoks breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Okotoks paves the way for another one to be saved.
