Silly's Story...
Silly is a 10.5yr old female Jack Russel mix who is 17lbs and 100% healthy and active. She is spayed, UTD on shots and had had her teeth prof. cleaned over the years..she is in GREAT shape! She is completely trained, VERY loving, 100% house broken and during bad weather if you put a wee-wee pad by the door she will go on that! She is a GREAT little senior. We picked up Silly from the Meriden Animal Care and Control as a shelter environment was no place for this little senior girl to be. Her owners had to give her up after having her for 10 years because their daughter and her children had to move in with them and one of the children is highly allergic. We hope that there is someone out there that is interested in this wonderful senior and can provide her with a loving home. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Silly, a West Hartford Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in West Hartford, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in West Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
