Rosco's Story...
Rosco is a young, male yellow lab approximately 2 yrs old. He was picked up as a stray by a local animal control and taken to the shelter. His owner never found him and he was taken in by rescue to prevent him from being put to sleep.

Rosco will make a great family companion with the right amount of care, attention and training. He's still young and needs the proper guidance. He's doing great with the other foster dogs, uses the doggy door and sleeps well in this crate.

Rosco is neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. His adoption donation is $250.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosco, a Phoenix Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
