Hi, this is Melody. Melody is a one year old female Pit mix. She is a 60 pound love bug. She gets along with big and small dogs, she would be good with children, and she seems to tolerate cats. Nobody wanted Melody after her owner died. She was thrown out into the street but she broke back into her yard and wound up living under the house. It's hard to believe anyone could do that to such a loving dog. Thank God a couple of great people rescued her. We are located in the San Diego area and pull dogs from southern California shelters and we assist families in rehoming their pets so that they don't have to go to a shelter.
I started doing rescue because I couldn't stand to see adoptable dogs being euthanized due to lack of an immediate home. I knew that I could find them good homes.

Potential families are asked to complete or Adoption Application before visiting our dogs. We introduce you and your family including any other dogs/cats in your family to our adoptable dogs. If the meeting is a good match we will schedule a home check to ensure that the home is a good match for the pet that you have selected. You will then be asked to complete our Adoption Agreement and to finalize the adoption there will be a processing fee to adopt a pet from us. All proceeds go directly back to help support our rescue and there are no paid employees so all fees are used for our pets waiting to be adopted.
